What a shite hole of a ground, was at the back of the 2nd tier if you stood up you couldnt see the goal to the right. How they can charge £30 for them seats is daylight robbery. It wants bulldozing!

It's a good ground as far as tradition is concerned and their fans are a decent bunch to talk to.
However, the away enclosure is a disgrace for £33 and the home fans support is pretty sub-standard for numbers they can call on.

Have to say having been the last 2 seasons as well how they can get away with charging £33 for their so called best seats in the paddock i'll never know.Took the mrs to the game and we were right in the corner and i don't think she saw a thing.Have to say i thought their fans were a friendly bunch though and we caught the bus back to Lime St station with them and some good banter.

My feelings exactly, sarge. Surely the Premier League has a duty of making sure fans aren't ripped off and 33 quid to get in there is without doubt daylight robbery.

Until we reached the Prem, I hadn't been to Goodison since the FA Cup semi in the early 70s. I suppose I looked forward to going as I remembered it with rose tinted glasses. What a shock - I'm sure the sides of the ground haven't had a lick of paint since the 70s and the concourse behind the paddock is like a throwback to Victorian days. We can be dismissive of modern stadia as having no atmosphere - but Goodison Park is a reminder that the old stadia were not always all they were cracked up to be. How Everton, who were once known as "The Millionaire Club" have managed to end up with such a sorry mess of a stadium given the fact that they have had years and years of Premiership money is a complete mystery to me.

I went last season and had a cack view. Awful ground. I wiped my feet on the way out!
This season, I decided I would prefer the trek to Sunderland instead of wasting money on Goodison.

They only really got going with any singing when the stokies were singing the Bread song for 5/10 minutes then it was good banter but apart from that they were very quiet as usual. Also at least they know they don't sing much because when they scored they sang "We only sing when were winning"

To be fair its like us playing Blackpool at home, the atmosphere would be poor, as it was against Blackburn and West Ham.

Very nice fans though They weren't quiet in the previous home match although to be fair to them they had a much harder game yesterday. Is it me or is Goodison Park one of the least threatening grounds in the country - unless you get on the wrong side of the law

When we've been in the top flight for another 10 years going neither up nor down, let's see where the volume level is at The Brit.
Third season and it's already tailing off fast, let's be honest...

It's a quaint old ground "of it's time" BUT this was the £29 "view" we had - worst I have ever experienced - period. Time to upgrade Everton - this should not be allowed in the Premier League.

I know there would be a lot of resistance from some fans but a joint stadium in Stanley Park with a 60,000 capacity would make a lot of sense. In the course of a season it would get more spectators than the Emirates or even Old Trafford and would be the most profitable stadium in the country.
If the two Milan clubs or Genoa and Sampdoria can share a stadium surely the two Liverpool clubs can?

Never say never...but given the history of the two clubs , the cicrumstances of Liverpool's foundation and that Anfield was once the home of Everton ( all be it rented from local brewers)any groundshare would seem as unacceptable today for many as it was in 1892.
