the guys form has dipped undoubtably but i remember the last-time he came back from his suspension he was Lethal.
At times this season he has been superb and i still regard him as our best player this season apart from lawrence and maybe shawcross.
14 goals speaks for itself and i still think he could 16-17 goals this season.
He is still in my opinion a better striking option than bothroyd.

Bothroyd, on his day, can be equal to Fuller, but in the same tone, Bothroyd can be lazy and drift out of the game. Hopefully, with a contract to earn, he will be suitable deputy for Fuller

I do think that the reason Ricardo dropped a gear is because he was a booking away from suspension. We've seen it with him before. I'm sure he will be firing on all guns again next week.

Ricci will get his place back no problem you know how he can tear defences apart and now with a top quality partner up front I think he will be better than ever.

Well, aint that just the thing? There's Ric thinking there's nobody who can remove him, nice and comfortable then along strolls Shola and Bothroyd. I'm hoping that this re-lights his fire Tone's great at this bit. Bothroyd, Ameobi ...both need to play for their careers and what with Newcastle precariously balance However, will Tone know when and where to play certain players for maximum impact?? There's no time for players to 'gel' as such. There's loads of talent though. That's what Tone gets paid for and that's what sometimes makes me feckin' furious with him. What bet poor old Danny floundering around at left back again? Come on Tone. We can do it...but pick the right team and not just who you think are the best footballers.

Ricardo is still the main man, to suggest otherwise is foolish (putting it politely)
nice to be able to perm 2 from 3 of such calibre for the rest of the season

Seems like we are all in agreement for once. Rcardo is the new Special One. He can do everything: finish, make goals, score on his own out of nothing. He is unbelievabley talented and the most exciting player I've seen at Stoke for years. If he's fit, he plays. Simple as.
