We have KJ. No thanks. I think Rooney would be good competition for Mama for the subs places when he's back from injury personally!

Anyone think there's any truth in this story? MOTD 2 have just said it but I doubt Rooney said he wanted to leave.

SAF is an absolute genius at knowing the right time to offload players. Not many have proved him wrong

SAF is an absolute genius at knowing the right time to offload players. Not many have proved him wrong That's undoubtedly true, but in the past Ferguson has been able to improve and evolve his team using the money he raised from selling players. Man Utd's debt dictates that isn't going to happen any longer. They need money and Rooney is just about the only player they've got that can truly wipe off a bit of that debt. It's pretty obvious that they want him out of the door to raise money and it's pretty obvious that Rooney realises it too.

Certainly possible if we pick a team to have a go at them. I can see TP being scared of the badge and playing Rory wide right or five at the back or something else panicky and negative though.

I still think Man Utd at home last-season is probably the worst performance we have dished up at the brit since we've got in the Premier League. It may have only been 0-2, but we were so devoid of idea's it was untrue, 2 shots at goal all game by us wasn't it? Next week will be different though I'm sure.

They really are there for the taking and falling apart and with the right attitude from the manager we can do them.

Not a chance of anyone other than walters or pennant being out wide on the right.

That may be the thing that tips him towards Bradford, there are some right munter whores around Thornton Road. You heard it here first

So he wasn't offloaded.

Seriously why would we want another striker that can't score? Rooney causes serious problems in trying to describe him, it would'nt be fair to say he couldn't score in a brothel would it.

Spot on, it was a gutless performance that day. I truely hope we do give it a go on Sunday, we have nothing to lose at all.

Me too. Like Liverpool last season. They really are there for the taking and falling apart and with the right attitude from the manager we can do them. Aren't they still undefeated this season? They haven't lost at Sunderland, Bolton, Everton or Fulham, whilst winning in Valencia. They are still a bloody good side *at the moment*. A draw on Sunday would be an excellent result for us. That said, we must do better than last season. We must give it a 'right good go' (as Pulis might say), attempt to land some punches, at least.
