Coates (unbelievably) has backed his manager to the hilt.
I am not sure of the quality of the two players but Pulis has learnt from last season and brought in players - well done to him.
Looking at our squad, the games we have left, there is no excuse for not going up automatically. It's in our hands and I expect us to do it.
I have never felt so confident about Stoke City for a long time - please don't let me down again.

At long last Stoke City with Peter Coates as the chariman are showing some ambition.
It has taken a long time, good signs earlier in the season with Shawcross etc being signed up.
Never thought I would see us sitting top of the league and actually doing something to try and stay there.
Well done Peter Coates, I have moaned about you for years but you now appear to be doing what we all hoped you would.
Gooooooaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrnnnnn STOKE !!!!!!!!!!!

plenty of striking options now, hope TP can deploy and get the best out of them in a striking role.

These new additions have to hit the ground running though. And that's a lot easier when the established nucleus of the side is playing well, which it isn't...
Exciting times, yes.
Nailed on certs for automatic, no way jose.
Let battle commence, go on Stoke...
