If he wasn't Eidur Gudjohnsen and we hadn't just signed him with much fanfare I think we should loan him to a Championship club. But he is and it would be embarrassing for him so we just have to wait and see how fit he gets. He needs games but the league isn't the place.

I said this a couple of weeks ago. When he's fully fit he's a real asset but the team are doing well without him so I'm not worried and I hope they work on getting him truly fit to play. Otherwise it would be pointless to try and accomodate him into a winning side.

I was over the moon when we signed him but im beginning to think it was a mistake, hopefully im wrong EG is a quality footballer, but needs time/weeks to loose weight and to understand the TP philosophy (not always quite easy for an attacking minded footballer, is it?). His "pre season build-up" started late, in the beginning of september, so we just have to be patient. I think he is ready and fit for fight (matchweight) within a couple of weeks.

I always thought Kris was going to go onto great things, Grapey. He looked a decent prospect I recall.

Glad he's playing for Iceland, a fit EG could easily partner KJ up front.

for Iceland, hopefully a sign he's nearing full fitness. Portugal won the game 1-3 and Eidur picked up a booking, not sure how he played.

I've got a feeling we'd see him a bit more if we hit another rocky patch. At the moment the side is looking good and certainly more balanced with Pennant on the right. However we could potentially have some tricky games ahead with Bolton, Everton and Sunderland all away. It could be that if we indeed lose one or two of those you might see EG getting more time. However like its been said the team is playing well at the moment and we shouldn't upset that.
