If we aren't getting any more, they will be sold out in 1-2 days max I looked on SCFCDirect last night for a mate, and they had just 30 odd tickets available They haven't released the 2 outermost blocks yet, they're selling the centre ones first. The middle 3 blocks have virtually gone meaning the outermost ones should be on sale soon. We've probably sold around 1,800 so far of a 2,800 allocation.

Why aren't we getting the upper tier if we sell out the lower tier? It isn't as if Bolton need it for their own fans.
Boothenpotter, who gave you this information?

I have been told that we will not be getting the added allocation for the Bolton game which means if you have not got your ticket yet get them a.s.a.p as the allocation we have been given are selling fast and probably wont last through all next week. I was hoping for full allocation to get great atmosphere but even with half the stand im sure we will be louder than the bolton drum. How do u know this information youth?

When I got my tickets yesterday I asked if we would be getting the upper tier too if we sold out the lower and the lady said yes we have the option to have it if we sell out the lower tier allocation by a certain date, so by that I reckon if we are sold out by maybe Saturday or Monday of next week we will go for the upper tier too and have next week to flog them to none season ticket holders.
Come on Stokies, get ya 20 quids out for this one, take the kids too as it's only £9 for the nippers, we got to get the three points here lads and imagine a 5K strong Stoke following cheering the lads on? It would be awesome and could be the difference.

Cheers mate, thanks a lot.
Will be my birthday day out I reckon, get into Manc early doors for a few then train up, game and back into Manc for a bit.
Never been to Bolton, it's supposed to be shite for getting a beer though isn't it?

1st season wasnt too bad in that pub (beehive?) about 10-15 mins away, good atmosphere, took a while to get a drink but it was pretty rammed.
Last year we got dropped off right outside the ground and couldnt be arsed to walk back up to there so went subway for a munch and wandered about for a few hours as we got there well early.
All the pubs around the ground are home fans only, beer in the ground isnt bad, its on draught so its not some shit out a bottle.

Is it close enough to get there whilst still enjoying the "medicinal benefits" of a late Manchester pub/ train beer without risking missing kick-off?

There is a station near the ground matey and yeah get into manc via the early Train and you have plenty of time to get a few down you and then on to the match, nowt doing around the ground though, we tried last year to get a cheeky one at the sports complex next to the ground but failed. You going up on th choo choo then?

Yeah mate, will head into Manchester early doors and have a few around the Uni where it's relaxed. Stop there for a couple of hours then back to Piccadilly Station and take a couple on the train I reckon. If they're serving in the ground that's ideal. I mean I hate paying the extortionate stadia prices but for sheer convenience I can get on with it. Only two downsides to that are that I can't smoke in the ground (so the later there the better) and drinking on the way back again.
If I feel confident enough that we can get there half an hour before kick off without running the risk of missing KO I'll be sound.
Might even, at a stretch, get a Travelodge room in Manc and stay the night. Since it'll be my birthday do I can justify a bit of a spending binge weekend and fuck off worrying about trains etc.
