I wouldnt publicly slate Ameobi, as any player we could potentially sign would be fantastic, but given the lack of playing time Ameobi has had at Newcastle, is he really the answer to our goalscoring issues?.
Kamara on the other hand would of been sensational, I don't quite get the same buzz with Ameobi though. If he can come in and score us goals that takes us up then brilliant and I can see some posters on here would be thrilled to have him in, but is he the answer? I don't wanna put any negatives on anything but I am just thinking realisticly? any thoughts?

I will fully support him. He is a step forward and should be the answer to our problems. We need a striker who can score some goals- he can get 3/4 before the end of the season which would be a good return (and potentially Premiership beckoning)
Well done Stoke (if he signs)

Without doubt Knowles, if he signs I will be fully behind him too, anyone that dons the red and white stripes is a legend in my eyes, well except Souleymane Oulare and Sam Bangoura.

Oulare is a legend!
I honestly think that Kamara and Fuller would be too similar. Ameobi is big and has the ability to score, which Mama, for all his hard work, does not. Since a Pulis team is always, to some degree, going to be direct, it's always going to be more effective with a target man. Ameobi should be effective in this role whilst posing a goal threat at the same time.

Speaking to my mates who are Newcastle fans bear in mind i live in Newcastle so im surrounded by the T-shirt wearing Keegan loving geordies. They reckon he's Newcastle's most naturally gifted skilled player. Just fell down the pecking order just last week they were claiming he'd be the one who would save them from relagation. And also is'nt he Newcastle 1st or 2nd top goal scorer in European competition call me crazy but i wouldn't mind someone like that playing for us.

Spot on RVD.
Ameobi will play higher up the pitch than Sidibe, and will carry a goal threat. Not sure I would pick Kamara in front of Fuller when he's back after a 2 week break for the last 5 games. Remember what he did after his suspension last season.
Personally I think Bothroyd is the missing player, becuase he can play wide left in a kind of 4-3-3 if we are chasing the game.

Any player of his quality is a blessing at this stage of the season, My only worry is that he is fit enough to walk straight into the team. We dont have time to get him match fit if he isnt. ???

The buzz amongst the fans and the competition within the squad would be a real boost going into the final 6 games. If Tone did nothing, we would slate him. If he brings 1 player in it will be good, brings 2 in then that would be great. Daren't think what we would think if Tone got 3 players.

His record when he played for Gleniss Roeder, was slightly better than 1 goal every 3 games which is infinetly better than mamas average of 3 a season.A very capable striker with premiership quality.
