With Newcastle riding the crest of a wave having dumped Chelsea out of the cup,I envisage them coming at us straight from the off.Add to this the high possibility of Pulis leaving our best players on the bench. This leads me to a Half time/Full time bet of Newcastle leading at half time but Stoke to win the match at a massive 50/1.These odds are automatically generated by the bookies and don't take into account the mindset of our manager. I'd also advise a saver on Newcastle to be leading at half time, with the match ending in a draw at 16/1. Both bets are available with Victor Chandler. Fill your boots!!

Fill your boots!! think i'll wait till the teams are announced, but that's a great call fella. As you say, pulis' mindset will be to give away loads of possesion till they score and then get at them second half. The newcastle/draw has more appeal to me tho. good luck

if we don't play the same defence as the other night with ric up top with KJ we'll struggle to get even a draw.
If tuncay doesnt play today the writing is on the wall for him.

Nice one! Just had a cheeky punt on that at 40-1 on bet365. Also, a bit of an optimistic one i know, but you can also get 20-1 on Jones scoring 2, which has to be worth a ten bob punt considering newcastles second choice keeper/Delap/Jones scenario.

we will try to stifle the game for 65 minutes and try and nick somthing, and thats so fucking wrong imo when the other night we proved that with a good line-up and positive play we are a real threat, it's time TP started to trusst his players more imo and taske the game to a few of these teams.
My only gripe with TP, he worries about the other team to much instead of making them think more.

i won £120 on coral, losing at half time and win the match £3 bet returned £87 and £3 bet on stoke to win the match 2-1 returned £33. always a worthy bet as i also won £69 for the bet of losing at half time and win the match against villa. proves you dont have to bet big money to get big returns. GO ON STOKE might go for jones hat trick on sat as he cant hit the woodwork so many times and not score,BLACKBURN MIGHT JUST BE THE UNLUCKY ONES NEXT TIME

Cheers original poster. Read the managers comments in saturday's sentinel then saw this thread and it made total sense. Had a fiver on it and am now counting my money.
Why we cant start with the correct players in the correct positions is beyond me.
