Wait till the day before it comes out, ASDA will probably sell it for £30 or something stupid at midnight

Best bet is indeed wait until the middle of next week. Will then have a clearer indication of a price war. From what I've seen and heard it is very likely the supermarkets will be battling it out on price

ASDA are usually the best bet.

The best thing to o is check out the sun on the day before release, they will have tesco, morrisons and asda (or at least one of the 3) adverts with 'special offer midnight release £25' or sommet.
The supermarkets have kept it under wraps so far, theres no confirmation of if they are doing the special prices.

From what I've gathered the game buyers are indeed keeping the prices close to there chest. There is no point going into store asking them what the price will be as it generally wont start circulating around them until 4 days prior to release. You may also now struggle to pre-order from one as most who offer that service will have likely used there pre-order allocation and your best bet would be to go into store at midnight to grab a copy.

Tesco sold FIFA10 for 26 quid at midnight last year

Even after the mindnight releases though, my mate went Morrisons the friday dinner time and picked up a copy of fifa 10 without any hassle, they still had loads left.
If they do sell it cheap again at midnight I'll more than likely go, I fucking love a bargain ;D.

If you don't want to queue at midnight, just head down to Sainsburys when it opens at 7. I did that last year with Modern Warfare 2 release. The 26 quid price tag at the time also had something to do with it . All depends how badly you want the game I suppose

£26 for MW2? I was at Makro and got it for £20!
This game I'm not actually too fussed over. Any similar deal might see me make an effort for though.

MW2 cost me 16 quid but I used some nectar points to get it down in price a little.
Hard to say Fifa's price due to it still being a week away from being released. All I know is it appears the supermarkets are going to be promoting this a lot more than Pro Evo

Had no worries getting MW2. I had been told all supermarkets had sold out, but i went to Morrisons late afternoon and there was loads left.

Ive currently got it on preorder from GAME's online store for £44, think im overpaying, What stores are selling it, I dont mind going at midnight to make sure I get it - I know all stores will be selling it but from info im gathering from here asda and tesco have a price war on it or something?

I think it will be more than Tesco and Asda fighting over the price. Morrisons and Sainsburys wont want to miss this one. Its a big release for them all and neither will want to miss out on sales on other merchandise.

Right lads, first proper rumour has come out.
"I heard a little rumour that Asda will be selling it for £29.98 so expect to Tesco etc to follow suit. Last year all the big supermarkets done a deal so hopefully this year will be the same.
From my friend who works at a national newspaper. He said the advert will go live in Thursdays edition.
Hopefully someone will confirm any prices very soon."
I don't think i'll be arsed with going up at 12 midnight and try tesco at 6am, then if not go morrissons in the morning at 8 and hopefully pick it up for 25 notes.

Nice one Mark.
"Just when i was losing hope in this i have been informed by my manager he recieved an email this morning stating upcoming deals, ASDA have vowed to beat any competitors price by £5 on Fifa 11, and the price stated was Morrisons at £27 notes, so ASDAs price for FIFA 11 on Launch day is £23.00 sterling."
If its 23 squid I'll change my mind and go at midnight, what a fucking steal!
