It's like looking back in time to 2004 when we were playing Gillingham.

To be fair their attendance's last few years been shockingly bad; can tell that times are really hard up there.

Another reason why we need to be careful when we consider extending the Brit.
Europa league final to mid table championship in only a couple of years.

That would be us if we were in the championship on a cold wet night, with a team going nowhere.

Shows that the SPL is only Championship standard, Mboro fill their side with ex-Celtic and flounder in the English 2nd Division. Having said that, Rangers drew with Man U tonight ;D.

Middlesbrough is also virtually skint as a town through no fault of its own so I can understand fans not wanting to spend what money they have got on poor football.

its a shame but it doesnt surprise me. part of this is directly the fault of the media saturation coverage of the prem and very little about the rest. i couldnt believe the crowd for coventry v derby [on tv b4 the spurs match] the stadium was that empty i thought there was some form of protest going on. they reported and attendance of 13,000 in the papers next day which would have been bad enough but if there were 13,000 in the ricoh when i was watching then they must have been hiding !!
