Not just 5 minutes, some of these clowns walk out in the 78th minute near me.
When these people have sex do the turn over and go to sleep as the vinegar strokes start?

There was loads of red seats visible before the final whistle. Craziness. Like paying to listen to a very long joke and then wandering off before the punchline.

They leave early to beat the traffic, so they get home 15 mins earlier and then spend an extra 15 minutes sat on the sofa doing nothing.
Does my effing fruit in I tell thee!!!!
There should be a seperate stand/section JUST for people who leave early as I am sick of having the game interupted by people moving everyone to leave early! Stick all all in their own part of the ground and they can all leave together.......

The whole row to my right was empty apart from two people, madness. You wouldn't go the cinema and leave before the end so bollocks to getting off the car park!

In Block 28 this one guy started going mental, he shouted "TUNCAY! Why are we playing this idle twat Jones when Tuncay would run and run. Fuck Jones off!"
He then stormed out of the stadium, only for Jones to score about a minute later, we all pissed ourselves. ;D

As they leave they should have the date and time stamped on their forehead in indelible ink - so they can be identified and not admitted until ten minutes after kick off for the next game.

It is a mental policy. By definition you will miss all the biggest mentals when all was lost and was retrieved. These people will never see a last minute winner or a two goal turnaround. Imagine that. On the plus side the numpties in the queue on the stairs give me an excuse to stand for the last ten minutes of every half, so I was in full mental with no standing time! ;D

I will never understand why people do this. If you are worried about traffic dont go in the first place! Its not the end of the effin world to spend 20 mins in a bit of traffic is it? Or why dont you get fit, park a 10 mins walk away and then you wont have to put up with any traffic jams!

Agree people leaving early is a joke but not half as bad as those that leave their seat and then stand on the steps and in the aisles blocking the view of those staying in their seats till the end. The stewards should insist that you leave the ground when you leave your seats, instead of spoiling it for everyone else. A real pain in the ass.

It takes me usually takes me 2 1/2 hours to get home after a match last year against Manure and 0-2 down I crept out at 88 minute and it saved me 30 minutes on my journey time, 30 minutes usually spent getting away from the ground and the car park ,before hitting the motorway. Personally speaking I really cannot see the benefit in saving 30 minutes traveling time on a day lasting 8 1/2 hours to see Stoke play football, so my choice is always to stay to the sometimes bitter end . But I bet whatever time benefit those that left early last night received ,they are absolutely gutted to have missed that climax to the game. I'd never have a pop at someone who feels they want to leave before the end, I just wouldn't do it as a personal choice. Having said that ,I do remember having to ask for the gates to be unlocked to let me out the time Birmingham thrashed us at the Brittania years ago. Also last night was the first, last minute win my nine year old lad had seen ,also his first evening match and the most excited celebration he's ever had at a Stoke win ,so I'd have missed all that too. Although if his mum finds out he also enjoyed learning the "one-Nil and you *ucked it up !! "song and the fun waving off the away fans off the overpass ( with an ingenious 2-1 double hand gesture he thought of ! ) not too sure he'd be using his season ticket again this year

depends on the score I would say
if the game is 'clearly' over (like say Everton v The Shit....) then fair do's
last year bloke in front of me left the Wigan home game - score was 2.2 after they were awarded a penno & before they missed it
