The outsiders view of what Tone has done today really bring it into light.Even his most ardent critics within our fanbase must admit that he was beyond "the job" today and showed just how dedicated he is. And when the 20,000 + Managers that we are start moaning about selections or styles of play, maybe we should leave it to the guy who really is at the centre of everything that has been so brilliant about OUR Club's fortunes over the last couple of Years. We'll be With You TP.

Telegraph piece is brilliant - thanks for the links. Yes excellent report Henry winter the guy who wrote it made also made these comments on his twitter ( twitter.com/henrywinter ) Huge cheer as Pulis walks out for 2nd half. Incredible devotion to Stoke on day his mother passed away. Salutes fans. Real edge to `Delilah' 1-1. Towering Jones header...Stoke clearly lifted by Pulis' arrival.

Absolutely. The telegraph piece was superb - I pinched a bit below. By contrast, the Guardian review last night was shockingly disinterested in Stoke's performance. The poor excuse for a journalist hadn't even stayed 'til the end of the game it seems for result aside there wasn't even any coverage of the Stoke goals.

Re Daily Telegraph, I spoke to Henry before the match - a terrific football man and an exceptionally nice fellow - and I'll be happy (by e-mail) to tell him how well his piece was received.
