Just back from watching England U-21's and need to say that Shawcross was brilliant. He looked sure footed, confident and a real threat when needed. Can't wait to get him back.

...and, isn't Molineux a weird ground? The pitch is so wide even Parkin would look slim!

It was 0-0, and to be fair it was pretty shit. Hart looked solid in goal, Surman was lively as was Mancienne. Shawcross was just really confident and didn't put a foot wrong. I was surprised to see him go off in the second half.

Noticed he went up for plenty of corners and free kicks but whoever was crossing the ball wasn't doing a very good job of it.
They either went miles above him or didn't clear the front man.
Shame really, as he could have scored maybe his first goal for England if the service had been better.
Solid in defense though. Well done Ryan. Anybody bid for him yet ?

He had a very good solid game, looked very assured.
I hope Pulis plays him with Riggott instead of Cort as he is a much better defender even at 20.

The commentators at the end of the match said that the England team fielded today (apart from a couple) won't play the next match as they thought they were pretty bad and Pearce was just checking the fringe players out. I only caught the end of the game so never saw how good he was but lets just hope he was good enough as this was England’s 2nd squad if you like.

He had a decent game. People moan about getting off the car parks at Stoke, but what a load of bollocks that was. Terrible! Where did you sit scooby? We were on row Z of the Billy Wright Stand in the upper tier. Good view, but there was little legroom and the concourses are looking tatty. Considering we were in the most expensive bit of the ground(normally) I much prefer my block 25, row 24 seat at the Brit.

I was in row X of the Stan Cullis, packed in like sardines but I had a good time....thought 8 laps of the Mexican wave was fun too

I was surprised to see him go off in the second half. Don't know if anyone saw it on SKY (my heart was in my mouth) but he seemed to pull up slightly during the second half, looked like a twinge as he was hobbling, trying to shake something off, I was chuffed when Pearce took him off because didn't want Ryan to be injured for us, bet Tone was happy too. Ryan was solid last night, he attacked at pretty much every set play. Well done to him.

I reckon the mighty Potters would have given either side a good thrashing.... I also reckon that the Polish 'keeper must be related to Delap cos his throws were HUGE. He threw from his area well over the half way line!

Dan82, I heard that too (had it on while I was working), hopefully it was nothing. To be fair the lad must be pretty knackered after his first season of proper first team football, sure he's looking forward to relaxing with his championship winner's medal in a few weeks.
