We're starting to let the media get to us. If it's not Wenger or comments about our style of play it's something else.
Two years ago we couldn't give two hoots, it was water off a ducks back and if anything we just laughed at it and did our damdest on the terraces to support the team to help spur them on.
I can't believe how people on the board are getting so wound up about the media jibes this year. To make matters worse I'm sure the journos who lurk on this board are actually quite enjoying the fact.
Come on Stokies don't give them the satisfaction.
We need to get the Brit back to it's hostile and raucous best on Monday night.

I fookin love em slagging us! It's only because they can't handle the fact that Stoke are back!
I was there through the seventies when we were competing, and playing some Football that was the stuff of dreams. But just before all that came, we were a mean horrible side who nobody liked playing against, and guess what, the press slagged us off. Does this sound familiar?
TP is getting us established the right way, Teams don't like us, they fookin hate coming to the Brit, this is down to the way we put them under pressure, and the hostility of the crowd. We WILL play a more expansive game over the next couple of seasons, this is turning into a repeat of the golden era, and imo, the more they hate us, means the more they are afraid! Goaaarrrn Stoke!!!!

If anything, we NEED the negative attention to pull us out of our current complacency and return The Brit to maximum nastiness.
Can't wait for Monday, haven't been up for a game as much as this for quite some time.
Come on Tone. No Houllier, no excuses. Get in their faces from the first whistle, attack relentlessly and terrorise the shit out of 'em whilst their still in limbo...

I never liked ARSEnil before any of this shite and even despise them more and the majority of their arrogant cunitsh support.
If they want to talk about us then fine but I don't see any of our playing staff having a pop at them, merely defending their actions, not that they need defending though. Maybe Wanker shoudl concentrate on his own team instead of having a fetish for everything Stoke City?
