Had to laugh at the small minded jocks by booing the liechtenstein national anthem merely because it has the same tune as england. They really do need to move on and get that huge chip off their shoulder about living in englands shadow...sad bastards.

To be brutally honest I just think you have to cut them some slack here, it can't be much fun living up there.
The population of Scotland has been declining year on year since the second Highland clearances of 1820.
The only reason any people remain in Scotland at all is on account of the extremely cheap alcohol available in supermarkets, plus a ready supply of heroin when the alcohol runs out.

Booing the opposition (especially your rivals) and their national anthems/songs is what football is about

wouldnt worry about it too much, they are like the vale of international football living in there bigger rivals shadow yet thinking they still have some big time rivalry. in the end of the day, we will have the last laugh when they dont qualify AGAIN.

It was to the same tune as "God Save The Queen", so if someone didn't think it wouldn't get a bad reception then they need to take their rose tinted spectacles off and think for a minute, Scotland and England once had a huge rivalry and quite a lot of English don't like Scotland and vice versa. It was always going to get some sort of bad reception, i'm more surprised the Rangers supporters who might have been at the game didn't boo the 25th anniversary applause at the death of Jock Stein.

Is it just me who thinks all this minutes silence/applause is over the top, fair enough is someone important has just died. But now we have the 5th anniversary of when Alf Ramseys budgie died or an Arsenal player broke a leg

To be fair it does seem a minority,Celtic fans more so than any others i dare say, as Rangers forums are up in arms about how disgraceful it was, they love the Queen do the Rangers fans, there's even her portrait in the home changing room at Ibrox.. There is most definitely not a portrait of the Queen at Celtics ground...

Yea, had to laugh. See, what we have here is the worlds biggest inferiority complex, but theyre not alone in their hatred of all things English. Everybody loves to hate the English, and everyone wants to beat us. Makes ya feel all warm inside don't it!

Even the cheap alcohol comes from Buckfast in Devon I've been Glasgow a few times now and i have to say the alcohol is far cheaper in Stoke than it is up there and Buckfast was, at the last count, between £7 and £8 a bottle, the tramps up there must be minted... ;D

What exactly has that got to do with Liechtenstein? The anthem was to the tune of GSTQ. Maybe just maybe that has something to do with it.

Not paranoid just have a firm view on this certain subject. Here is the verse though: Lord, grant that Marshal Wade, May by thy mighty aid, Victory bring. May he sedition hush, and like a torrent rush, Rebellious Scots to crush, God save the King.

But the Rangers fans wouldn't boo GSTQ would they, they're all for Britain and the Queen, as i said earlier it'd be the Celtic fans who'd be booing as they tend to not be quite so Pro-Monarchy..
