Managing a Premier League club these days is bigger than managing Wales imo. Walter Smith jumped ship from Scotland to take over Rangers and McLeish was pretty quick in plotting his own escape to Birmingham, so I'd agree with that.

Robbie Savage was saying on football focus on satdee that Toshack needed to go - any bets on him going into football management ? There would certainly be some quality interviews if his recent stint on 5 lives post match phone ins are anything to go by! Used to hate savage but since he has been on there i've warmed to him!

Apologies to our Welsh Stokies but it dont matter whos in charge of Wales, they'll always be shite no matter who is the manager. I personally think we should put them, Andorra, Faroe Isles, San Marino and Scotland in a kind of pre-qualifying tournament for Euro's and World Cup qualifying.

the Wales job lets hope they don't come knocking on our favourite Welshman's door ??? Danny Collins??? Well I suppose reluctantly we wouldn't stand in his way if the Welsh FA stumped up the necessary compensation.

Bobby Gould on Talksport was advocating his candidacy - unsurprisingly no-one told him that the job was a downgrade from Stoke, which it undoubtedly is.
As suggested earlier, he may consider when he feels it time to semi-retire.

I'm glad that he hasn't been linked to the Wales job,how do you think he would react if offered the job? He is a seriously proud Welshman and I think he could possibly be tempted.
