We must finish in the top two, because I have this horrid feeling if we only make the play offs we will fook it up & not even make it to the final, that's my gut feeling anyway.

I think that's a feeling shared by most. We hit form too early it appears; just hoping we've got enough fuel to last the ride. Bristol is a must win.
Hull are the team to watch out for, if all teams continue present form, then they'll be ones that could take it from us....

Agreed, the Brizzle game is a massive one for us but i do honestly believe we have the players to get us into the Prem

IMO. We've got one of the stronger teams in the league, Not quite in depth as Brazil or Charltonia, but more than strong enough.
Credit due to the management team for building that, but... The bottle (that TP has constantly praised) appears to be fading. We need a confidence boost. We need not only the right result against Brizzle, but a performance to match.

I feel the same, We need to get automatic promotion. I dont feel as though any of the top teams are in form at the moment except for Hull.

Why all the reference to the Bristol game.
If we wait that long to put on a performance, we will be looking over our shoulders at a play-off place.
Prior to our trip to Preston, we were looking a really good side, albeit a little vulnerable at the back. We were strong and effective and more than capable of mixing our style of play up a bit.
Right now, players and management seem to have gone into their shell, and we are seemingly more direct now than we have ever been. We are seemingly chopping our team each week, even without the suspensions (see Pugh v Waford...sub one week, three positions in the first 11 the following week) and we don't seem to have a settled side from one week to the next.
The time has come now. Pulis needs to decide on his best 11, and stick to it, save for the availability of Fuller and Shawcross, and we need a performance on SATURDAY.
3 points v Shef Wed, and we may just be able to have a week of thinking a little more positively than we do right now. I think we are on the cusp of fucking it all up and if we wait until the Bristol City game, we will have fucked it up.
This week is looking like being a long one. Roll on Saturday!

if we dont get automatic it would be hell, i would have no finger nails left at end of the games i dont't see us winning the playoffs.
we need to go for it and push on and secure a top two place just hope we don't have to go throught the playoffs.

All of the teams we have now got left to play, want points for either promotion, play offs or relegation. Why couldn't we have had an easy run-in?
The trouble is there is going to be so many scenarios' left, and I'm just hoping that it's the happy one at the end.

Isn't it better to play teams nervous about relegation? By definition they are pretty poor, and may play worse if there is something to lose.
In any case, Colchester will be down, and I think Leicester might just have reached safety by then.
Some of our rivals have to play 3 or even 4 play-off contenders - we've only got Palace (and Bristol) from the top half, and the rest are pretty poor teams. It's ours to win if we can start scoring early in games again, starting on Saturday.

We have a certain maverick in this team who i KNOW will get us promoted, we won't need any loan signings , because after his rest , he will be on fire, i predict 5 goals out of his last 5 games for ric, and he will establish himself as a Stoke Legend.

The only sure thing about Stoke is that nothing is sure.
Over the years too many of us have seen Stoke snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Automatic or nowt .
We're too inconsistent for the play-offs

Because judging by the table, we are the most consistent team in this league ;D
