What are people's thoughts on Ian Holloway missing his own side's match last night to scout Sheffield Wednesday's Marcus Tudgay (at Scunthorpe)?
It seems a bit odd to me and certainly didn't seem to help Blackpool who lost in extra time.

At the end of the day professional footballers should get on with the job, whether the gaffer is there or not.

Window shutting, money sparse and coke cup deemed a luxury. Hard to say he has done the wrong thing, but he obviously doesn't trust his scouts enough.

I think he's probably got his priorities right myself.

I agree with the above, he's certainly got his priorities right, but whether or not Marcus Tudgay will help them is another issue.

Scouting for new players or kicking water bottles needlessly at cup games? I know which one I'd rather my manager was doing.

I think he can claim mitigating circumstances on it to be honest, although paying Blackpool fans have a right to be pissed about it.

Can't see how it's going to help morale, Prem survival has got to be number one but a good cup run can do wonders for any side!
