Nobody actually knows how much money as gone out of the club SO FAR.
We have signed two players and the total amount of the fees for both players is £10.75M or in the region of that fee.

However we aparently paid KJ a large signing on fee to make sure he didn't lose out on taking a lower wage. If reports are true that he's halved his weekly from £60k p/w to £30k p/w then we must have paid him a signing on fee in the region of £6,250,000 which would take our actual spending to £11M so far and over half of our alleged £20M war-chest.

Sunderland gave him a massive get lost gift, which meant the signing on fee was much less for us.

Didn't they call it some sort of loyalty bonus as he didn't personally request a transfer?

However some of that, or maybe even a lot of that, was reportedly paid by Sunderland anyways. Is nothing but pure speculation at the end of the day

We would have done the same with Beattie. To get him in our wage structure we have alledgedly paid him a massive signing on fee. Obviously none of us know but the figures above make sense if as alledged he is still on what he was at Sunderland.

i don't think it makes any difference what we've think we've spent up to yet . lets see what we've spent at the end of the window then if people want to they can applaud or criticize .
with regards to paying transfer fees over a period of time or not . they have still committed stoke city to over £10 million .who'd have thought they'd ever see us paying £8 million for a player a few yrs ago ?
