Just paid £360 for my son to be a mascot for the Man City match. Has anyone else had someone as a mascot? was it a good day and were they looked after?? I cant think of anything I would have wanted more as a kid and I cant wait for him to walk out at the Brit in front of a full house!! Definately going to be a tearful day for me if not for him!!!

I know of someone at work whos lad was a mascot said it was a great day for the lad and his family. Also seen people post in the past that it is a great day, so I doubt you/he will be disappointed

Three. Hundred. And. Sixty. Sheets!!!!!!! Fair play for doing it for your child pal but I think that is an obscene amount for football clubs to charge. That said, I don't know what you get for your money. Cant believe it is worth 360quid though.

Jamo jnr was a mascot against Valladolid last year (much cheaper than a league game!) Great night that we all enjoyed although I think for the money they charge for the league games your kid should be THE mascot and not just one of eleven. They draw lots as to who is in the photos and the rest if the kids have to disappear for the coin toss and pre match pics. Other than that it was well worth it and most of the players were great especially Ric and Abdy.

My daughter was a mascot against hull 2 seasons ago. Its a superb day, you get really well looked after. As said above they draw lots to see who walks out with which player. My daughter got to walk out with fuller.
It's an absolutely superb day, you'll remember it forever. You won't regret it one bit.

£360, please dont tell me Stoke are making money from the mascots. Suppose there are 10 mascots its a nice little earner. To be fair to the club you get a free strip, two tickets to the match,a souveneir programme and a before the game meal and you get to meet your heroes.Cheap at half the price really ;D

Rambo, I promise it will be a day your lad and you never forget and it will cement his loyalty to the club for life.
My lad was Stoke's lone mascot at Spurs last season so he walked out first holding Abdy's hand. I'm not afraid to admit I was in tears (behind sunglasses) on the touchline at WHL in front of 35,000, proudest day of my life.
When Riccy scored the winner it was beyond emotion.
Whoever your son walks out with it will be amazing.
A couple of tips. Get a full set of SCFC Match Attax cards from eBay and a good permanent marker pen for the lads to sign them in the dressing room. I've framed James' set with his matchday shirt, ticket and photos. If you can take a camcorder, my regret being I only took a stills camera.
Have a fantastic day !!!

Oh and by the, the Stoke staff who look after the mascots are superb and a credit to the club. Enjoy

No mate, you're absolutely right. Riccy did all the work down the right and cut the ball back for Whelan to bury it. D'oh. Got a bit misty eyed, obviously...
