It isn't moaning to point out that a performance was not good enough. It's just being honest. There are actually more threads about the moaners than there are actually people moaning.
Kidding yourself about the way Stoke are playing at the moment is just about the worst thing you can do.

I arent kidding myself ! We were gash yesterday, but we are still top, dont get me wrong I want what the majority of other stokies want, to steam roller every team in the next 6 games and be crowned champions ! But it aint going happen cause like the cliche goes in this league anyone can beat anyone, it really is that open, but i have a good feeling about us getting 3 points next week at SW ! + for me Blackpool looked a half decent team yesterday !

OD,
I admire your optimism and we both want the same thing... desperately!
The front cover of the fanzine yesterday said that it was "squeaky bum time" so I know how tense the end of a season can be. I am though concerned by SIX consecutive games now where we simply have not played well, have won only one game and scored only three goals.
I think we've been lucky to stay top but am deliriously happy that we are there. But we HAVE got to snap out of this malaise. The manager and players have worked too hard this season to let it slip at the death, especially when every other team is trying to hand it to us on a plate to us.
Fingers crossed for Hillsborough next week.

If we are all honest, we don't look like an automatic promotion team - even at our best. But.....................NO ONE IN THIS LEAGUE DOES! Lawrence will add a spark back into the team and hopefully a new face will arrive (beginning to doubt it though) to bolster our chances.

Will a new face REALLY help, i doubt it, it will just be an unfit player such as Healy who WONT hit the ground running.
With fuller and lawrence in this team, along with the likes of whelan and delap, we will be just fine, and we will get promoted.
