After applying to go on itv's the chase i have got an audition tomorrow at 11.45 in manchester. Whats people records for getting back from manchester to stoke so i got a target to beat when i am trying to make kick off?? Bloody itv must have read on my form that my main hobby was watching stoke home and away then give me a lunch time audition on the day of the 1st home match!!! great!!

Depends on traffic and if any accidents occour, you should be fine 45 minutes if you break limits

Where in Manchester?
Get yourself on the A34. In the middle of the night with nothing about I did it in 35 minutes.
Only traffic would be in Alderly Edge but shortly after that you hit the Handforth Bypass which is a dual carriageway. Between Alsager and there it's pretty much all country lanes.
Put your foot down in the country stretches where it's national limit but be careful elsewhere as there are a handful of cameras on the way.
