If we continue playing as we have in the last six games (which has yielded just 6 points) how long do you think that will remain the case?
Just out of interest like.

SGS...I admire your seeming confidence, but how on earth can you not be worried by our recent form.
How on earth can you think that all is well, when Pulis persists with Pugh at full-back, persists with Cresswell in the team (in any position), persists with Parkin on the bench and makes substitutions which results in about 4 positional changes per substitution.
How can you not question why our goals have dried up?
Being top is masking a whole host of problems that our team seemingly has at the moment.
I wish I could be as calm as you, but to be honest mate, I am worried sick.
We saw how a 3-0 reverse at Colchester last season saw Pulis send his team into their shells and I am more than a little worried that the two defeats at Preston and QPR have had the same effect.

Performances have not been good. Why the personal attack on me? If you had read my post earlier, you would have known my disappointment in today. Please see below. It also seems that others on the board are beyond criticism, mainly due to their positon on the board.

Re: My thoughts on today « Reply #6 on Today at 19:41 »
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 points lost for me today. The most annoying thing was that we never put Blackpol under any sustained pressure. We were fortunate to get the equaliser when we did and then we didnt go on from there. Why did Griffin continue at RB, when he is clearly a better LB and Wilko is a better RB? Didnt make sense at all. The most disappointing for me was Cresswell. He was total gash today. Whenever he got the ball, he did one of two things:, either lose it or fall over. We lacked energy, drive and urgency today and it is a worrying sign for the run in. Most annoying is that yet again, results have gone for us and we have failed to capitalise. We should have been 5 points clear of 3rd and yet we stay 3 points clear. I have praised the team for poor peformances when we get results. Today, we got neither. Still, we are more than capable of getting 3 points at Hillsborough. SGS

So you are worried SGS and you share my concerns about Cresswell, Griffin and others in our team at present.
Why didn't you just say so? ;D

No personal attack on you! But out of interest you mentioned a certain few people who havent even posted on this thread!! So why do that? Because they are quick to jump down the throats of others who dare to disagree with them. I said the same last week when we got a point from watford, yet I was a 'happy clapper' for stating so. Whilst pissed off with the performance today, we are still top. SGS

???I too was dissapointed with todays performance but "Thats Football"
Do you really expect teams to come to us & just lie down & let us win???
We are top so teams will raise there game against us & Yes we have had a bit of a shit run BUT we have come through unscathed & Remain in the best position for fuck knows how long.
Anybody would think we had just gone bottom ???

I criticise those that criticise the team when we are top of the table. I dont understand that. Anyone would think we were fighting for our lives. SGS

SGS SGS, ONE reply to a thread in months, where I bemoaned those who (and you're one of the very worst culprits - for which you've been banned in the past) who become quite abusive to anyone who DARES to suggest that a performance may not be good enough and I'm "jumping down people's throats". Try again.

Get your head out of the sand SGS? Last 5 games have been shite? Do you agree? yes or no will suffice!! Its not rocket science is it Werrington. I think what SGS is saying is that he agrees it has been shite but there are 4 or 5 other clubs for who it has been shiter. The only team to make up groungd is Hull

Both Watford away and Seaside at home were well below par performances for me....but compared to last season where we just missed out on the play-off,its just as important for the fans to stick with the boys as it is for the players to get back on track.

I think it's entirely fair to moan about yesterday's performance, given that it was utter gash for the most part.
Yes, teams raise their game when they're playing the team at the top, but if that team is serious about going up then they raise their game to beat them, and we're just not doing that at the moment.
