have significant baring on who we can attract to the club do you think?
Obviously we have a hell of a lot to offer a player, we are a debt-free ambitious club who are not generally regarded as relegation candidates this season for a start.
But if ( worse case scenario ) we found ourselves on the receiving end of 4 straight defeats from our first 4 league games, and a potential exit in one of the domestic cups, is that going to play a part in whether players will come here? Will they look at that and wonder how much of a gamble the move could prove to be?
For what it's worth, I think we'll take 4 points from our next 3 games and dick Shrewsbury ;D just wondered if people thought it could play a part in attracting players really.

Well they certainly have the potential to do ... it all depends what those results are. If we're at the receiving end of three heavy tonkings from Spurs, Chelsea and Villa, then we're going to be at the foot of the table with a rather large minus goal difference come deadline day and are (even if the belief is illfounded) going to be perceived as candidates for the drop by at least some of the targets that we're hoping to land. This week could turn out to be the most important week of the transfer window for us, as we might not look as an attractive propostion to some players again this window. It really is daft but just 4 points on the board between now and then could make a difference I guess. |

Then our confidence, the players saw Jones as the leader and once he went off we saw the talents and weaknesses of our individual players.Until HT. Maybe new players and our confidence flying on Saturday at the Brit and im sure we can get at least 1point.

I think the game plan would've worked ok if the ball was sticking, which it wasn't the entire time Mama was on the field. Our best spells of the game were the opening 10 minutes and brief spell when Tuncay came on and we pulled a goal back and showed some fight. |
