Never mind the Blackpool fans, I hope the Blackpool players set off nice and early and avoided the problems!
Certainly don't want the kick-off to be delayed as it's going to be bloody freezing at the Brit!

Get on the A34 Tony from Manny Airport. No worries. Or come down via Macc/Leek rather than Congleton. There can be worse places to be stuck with the M6 closed than Ringway ...
* Shows age with Ringway comment, anyone under 35 will be scratching heads

Not looking good
BREAKING NEWS: M6 CLOSED AFTER MULTIPLE CAR PILE-UP Be the first reader to comment on this story
Part of the M6 motorway is closed in both directions following a serious traffic accident.
Both carriageways are shut between Junctions 16 and 17.
It follows a collision involving several vehicles on the southbound carriageway, just south of Sandbach, at around 10am.
One of the vehicles went over onto the northbound carriageway, causing another collision.
There are multiple casualties, but no fatalities have yet been reported.
Police accident investigators are at the scene. A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "It?s likely the M6 will be close both ways for the forseeable future. The northbound carriageway should be open before the southbound.
"We expect there to be severe delays in this area and we would advise all motorists to avoid the M6 where possible."

Dunno how good it is looking now but I walked up Queens Road by the back of the Accy unit at 12 and one helicopter took off and another stationary one was being prepared at the pad there. Looks a big one. Keep safe y'all.

Why are there so many accidents on the M6 around Stoke? Every traffic bulletin on radio 5 mentions J15 or 16.

Why are there so many accidents on the M6 around Stoke? Every traffic bulletin on radio 5 mentions J15 or 16. It's a long fairly severe (in Motorway terms) bend that people go too quick around. Add the factor of the woodland on eiter side that makes it darker and You have a nice little recipe for accidents.
