Let's not open old and painful wounds. It was a sad and horrible day in our history.

Every so often on The Oatcake some **** will start a thread about who Stoke 'hate' and why and trawling for stories of fights and stuff like that. A bunch of other ***** will join in. The purpose of these threads is titillation for ***** who most likely could not fight for anyone under any circumstance, the threads start or perpetrate a culture of 'us n them' they are divisive and in their worst form try to create outrage and incite acts of revenge. Acts where the ***** will not be present but perhaps some innocent party gets injured. You know - injured like when a Stoke fan lost an eye when hit in the face by a brick? That's how the 'Stenny' thread started. Some posters who are not brain dead tools created a enemy out of the least threatening, obscure team with a strange name miles and miles from Stoke and created the myth that Stenny had to be hated for some supposed evil act of nasty scary fighting that ever happened to poor innocent Stoke fans and families out for a nice day at the football. And there are still ***** that still don't get the message in the joke. That's not quite true Mumph, but close enough

We must have had the same post-Ochilview Park therapist mumph, but sadly for me, the pain was to great for me to have my memory altered like yours, I am happy for you, at least one of us doesn't suffer from the flashbacks

For many years now I've been taking of illegal drugs, I study the works of David Icke and I drink a flagon of rum every day. For me - this works*
* terms and conditions apply but I recommend it fully.

Denial is understandable, we know what happened to you at Ochilview Mumph and we understand.

I'm glad you remembered and I hope you too enjoyed the experience as much as I did.

At a time, in the future, we may well have the opportunity to right the wrongs of that day.
It is still vivid, and it is still frightening to think of what happened that day. It didn't need to be that way.
