Seemingly every month one of these threads is created.
Just leave the poor souls to rest, please.

Oh my word, just did a quick google and of those that allowed me access, it's horrible!
I'll never think of them in the same way again, did they really do that thing with the Baking soda and the Scotch egg? To a war hero as well!

Every couple of months somebody makes a thread called "Stenhousemuir". Everybody slates the person who made it and calls for them to be banned. Then people come on and claim that they we're there when it happend and "Still have scars" from that make-believe day.
There was no 'event' that occured that day, all people who say otherwise are liars.

I can't believe some people on this board you know, it's truly astounding they have such a lack of respect for fallen stokies, slaughtered going innocently to a game.

there are still people in institutions, in straitjackets, rocking in chairs who cannot get that day out of their minds.
somethings are best left alone to fade away into the annals of history.

And you should thank whoever you believe in that you weren't!! It's taken a long time for me to heal the scars that were caused that horrific day, my poor Dad has been told he will never regain his sight! We even had to remortgage the family home to cove the costs of therapy!! Please, let it rest.

What a load of stupid twaddle. All we need is the village idiot FB to try and justify this shit.
Stenhousemuir are far and away my favourite Scottish team and I just love all the people who live in this wonderfully famous town

Every so often on The Oatcake some **** will start a thread about who Stoke 'hate' and why and trawling for stories of fights and stuff like that. A bunch of other ***** will join in. The purpose of these threads is titillation for ***** who most likely could not fight for anyone under any circumstance, the threads start or perpetrate a culture of 'us n them' they are divisive and in their worst form try to create outrage and incite acts of revenge. Acts where the ***** will not be present but perhaps some innocent party gets injured. You know - injured like when a Stoke fan lost an eye when hit in the face by a brick?
That's how the 'Stenny' thread started.
Some posters who are not brain dead tools created a enemy out of the least threatening, obscure team with a strange name miles and miles from Stoke and created the myth that Stenny had to be hated for some supposed evil act of nasty scary fighting that ever happened to poor innocent Stoke fans and families out for a nice day at the football.
And there are still ***** that still don't get the message in the joke.
