Have either of these transfers officially gone through?
As far as I'm aware, they haven't.

Carlo Nash is hard to deal with! And Sonko's needs to be ratified by the FA/Football League.

Nash not officially but everything you read suggests he is our player, which is strange isnt it Upon his return to the Clayton Wood training ground, Stoke City Player cameras were on hand to catch up with the 34-year-old, who says he is determined to fight off the challenge of both Asmir Begovic and new boy Carlo Nash to stay City's number one. www.stokecityfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10310~2098871,00.html CARLO NASH has revealed that his decision to link up with Stoke City was an easy one . . . despite Tony Pulis confirming he will be his third choice goalkeeper. He added: "I have fond memories of this Club. Getting promotion to the Premier League was something I won't ever forget and it all happened in the space of two months. I feel a part of this Football Club and I'm delighted to be here again." www.stokecityfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10310~2091288,00.html

That's what I was hinting at Mark. All very weird.
I'm sure he will end up signing, but not quite sure what the hold up is?!

No guarantees, but I'd be surprised if Nash hasn't already put pen to paper - but maybe as the initial 'he's joined up in Austria and he's almost definitely signing' coverage was so widespread, they haven't felt the need to actually create a story out of the moment the 'i's are dotted and the 't's are crossed. I suppose it's only a pretty unglamorous 3rd choice keeper story after all.
It's a mystery with Sonko though.
Do we actually know if the ones who didn't travel to Austria - Davies, Sonko, Kitson, Beattie - are actually in trianing this week?
Davies not travelling was very weird. Others whose future are equally up in the air did go, and yet he didn't? And he'snot known to be a bad boy, is he?
Maybe he was fully expected to go last week, but didn't?
And strange that Dicko hasn't wrapped up a move yet either after the PNE thing was flagged up so clearly

I might knock it on the head tonight and just go on Saturday. £6 to see a very fringe side seems excessive to me.
