Just realised this will be my 50th season following Stoke.
No I dont want a medal and I know there are people who have been going longer than that.
There have been times over the years when ive thought of packing it in. Times when I only went out of habit, times when ive really had to force myself to go, times when I only went because my son wanted. but I always kept going.
There have been good times. Wembley72, the great team of 74/75, Europe, Autoglass Trophy wins, Cardiff and finally promotion to the Premier League.
And there have been shit times, far too many to mention (although in a funny way the days out at the likes of Rochdale, Mansfield and York etc have provided some of the best times)
I suppose now Ill keep going till the day I die, whether the future brings european football or the Blue Square conference.
So to all supporters who have done fifty years or only one just remember
Have a good season
Keep the Faith - Forever

Well done.
If you don't mind me asking what was your first game and who was your first Stoke hero?

40 up for me Bud!
Pestered my Dad at Christmas 1969 to take his 7 year old to see Stoke play Derby County. I now realise why I worshipped Harry Burrows from that day on just found out he scored our penno in a 1-0 win. Oh Harry,Harry......Harry, Harry Burrows....
You're right about the feast or famine nature of following Stoke though!
Good luck for the next fifty!

my first game was when we beat arsnil 5-0 so about 40 years for me, plenty of lows, however the last couple of years have more than made up for it. i for one never thought i would see stoke in the premier

Ive missed 15 home games since 1963 .Not bad , but many with a better record . Favourite players are too numerous to mention , but I think Biggins , Hudson , Stein and the 72 squad rank highly .

First game was against Chelsea in the old second division 0 0.
Best player I ever saw was without a doubt Alan Hudson but my favorite all time player has to be Big John.
Lowest ebb......probably being at Mansfield and losing on penalties (cant even remember if that was the League Cup or Autoglass). If someone had told me that night we would now be in our third season in the prem Id have said he was mental !!!!
