Personally wouldn't read any of them biographies. Which I'm sure they are instead of Autobiographies. Not likely that Tevez/Torres have time to write.

I despair, I really do. I don't even class them as books, they're at the same level as those stories that you used to write as a little kid. Hardly engages the brain reading stuff from those stupid tossers.

Gotta agree with the others 2010. If you want a good autobiography how about reading a true legends book?
I'm reading the Stanley Matthews book 'The way it was' at the same time as this Stephen Foster book.
Another quality read is Bobby Charltons autobiography.

All of them are a bit thick, and don't really have a story to tell. Autobiographies bore the fuck out of me anyway.

I know a player, a mate of mine who was in the same class in the mid seventies, was nephew or a cousin. Talked about about him alot at school for a year, I think I saw him play for the Stoke first team, saw him play for the reserves. Didn't know his first name but they used to to call him Thugger Thorley. I don't know why this name sticks with me, it was 34 years ago As anybody else got any recollection of once great Stoke player?
