According to the records was our original strip claret and blue?
If so, when we have our 150th Anniversary Season would any of us want to do an Arsenal and have this colour strip for a season.
(Either as home or away kit).

Rochdale have done the same this season, black and white stripes and they have done very poorly at home for large parts of the season.

I'd settle for a claret and blue away shirt, or do what Burnley did and wear a special kit for one game.

Finally someone who has been thinking along the same lines. I can't see it being a home strip but as an away strip I think it would be an excellent idea. Claret and blue quarters wasn't it? Steve

I thought the same-it would be a good idea for an away kit or a one off I think.

If it was the away kit or a special kit for a one off game then that would be great. Not sure if I'd want the home kit to move away from red and white stripes.

Cheers Vicar. I've messaged on that thread, that's what got me thinking.
