I know it's early doors, but I really fancy Huddersfield to do the business this season in League One. They have signed some cracking players (Jamie McCombe, Lee Croft, Joey Gudjonsson and Gary Naysmith) and at 8/1 look a very tasty price! Add the likes of Rhodes, Novak, Clarke and Smithies to the mix and they have a bloody good squad! Just thought I'd share

Clever bastard For the sake of this thread, I've put 50p on 'em! Also, Fulham are 9/1 to get relegated on 365. I'm having a bit of that!

Is that to top the table or just get promoted?

Southampton and Sheffield Wednesday. That's about the lot. Charlton as well, but I don't particularly rate them.

Well worth a punt on the seagulls...8-1 with Hills On what basis? I noticed they signed a couple of Argentinians the other day. Do you reckon Poyet is the right man?

Poyet is definitely the right man.... Form after he took over last season was good but the deal when he arrived was that he'd be given money to spend over the summer and the chance to build his own team from scratch. The Argies are by all accounts young and hungry for success with Brighton merely being a stepping stone into European football for them.Poyet is clearly a big enough name to attract that sort of player.... All that and theres a brand new stadium waiting for the start of 2011/12 season... Well worth a punt IMHO

Fair shout then. I notice they sold Liam Dickinson yesterday, which will surely add even more money to the transfer chest?!

They're after Lee Carsley too who would be pretty awesome in that league imo.

The problem with the Udders is that they are unbelievably inconsistent. If they can sort out their away form they'll be laughing.

I actually think leeds and vale are good outside bets at 16/1. Both have good managers for their respective levels. The championship looks a very poor league next season so i can see leeds making the playoffs at least. Vale seemed to turn draws into victories just a little too late in the season. Maybe they will start this season how they finished the last. I'm pondering an accumulator consisting of leeds, vale, southampton and west brom (to get relegated)

I may do Hudders but I fancy Southampton for that league and as well..
Shrewsbury in league 2 if they were not so inconsistant.
Forest or Bristol City for Championship.
