tinyurl.com/324sxaGlenn Rodent doesn't seem to think Ameobi would be workable. And, according to their local paper, Cov have tried and failed to loan McSheffrey, Eastwood and Helguson. Hard to think of any obvious candidates.

It looks like our striker search came to an end with the Nugent fiasco. It would be lovely if TP could pull one more from the bag, however it does look unlikely. I suppose we cannot grumble, he has done a superb job in the market this season. Three cheers for Tony!

Steino, who else?! he's still in the game! could do a job. Failing that Chopra would be pretty decent. Tone seems to have a good understanding with Keano and Chopra is proven at Champ level. I know he isn't in the Tone mould of strikers school, but the lad can find the net in the Champ. He could fire us up, then we could piss him back off to the Mackems.

not a lot out there and available, Chopra got on the pitch on saturday as a sub, can't see them letting him out whilst fighting a relegation battle, or many other really, I think it's play with what we have got. If TP plays forwards in forward roles, midfielders in midfield and defenders in defensive positions we should get through. he can play the keeper wherever he wants
