Harry Redknapp has just said that no English manager could turn the England job down if it were offered, including him.
I think he's mad if he takes it, if I were him I would do the European adventure with Spurs first, but I hope he does get offered and take it. I think he is the best man for the job.
The FA would hate to have to offer it to him but they did give to El Tel.
If he the best man for the job?

Well he does at least have the same opinion of Heskey that I do!

Woy would be a better choice. Apart from Woy having experience of getting the best out of average players (that should be the England job description) Woy doesn't have the repeated accusations of dodgy dealing leveled against him that 'arry does.

Well, when one looks at what has gone before...Turnip head and McClaren then there's not too much to beat is there.
Tones time is just around the corner.

Not really a plea is it. They tried to push the question on him last night about an Englishman Manager next and if he'd take it.

I thought it may have been a plea as it was right at the end of the interview and he was not being pressed on it at the time. He was clear to say we have a manager already though etc., just seemed like an add on to the interview to me.

Yes, let's keep changing the manager and not dealing with the real problem.
The FA wouldn't touch Harry with a barge pole and they might be wise with his court case on dodgy dealing pending.

Hodgson would be a far better choice as he's the better tactician and far more intelligent. Redknapp for me is more of a wheeler dealer than a great tactician.
