Watching today just made me realise how much myself, and probably most others, are club over country (including the England players). I remember crying my eyes out when we went out to Brazil in 2002 (albeit i was 12), but at the 70th minute today, we knew we'd lost so we went into the back garden and started the BBQ early, followed by a drunken game of head tennis. Shame really, but lets face it representing your country is not what it used to be, am i right in thinking the England players get a wage for playing as well ??? Oh well, back to what we all really care about August the 14th .. GOARRRNNN YOU MIGHTYYYY POTTTTTERRRRSSSSSSSS !!!

I think a few England players donate their International wage to charity, that might just be the friendlies though, if they donate it all the time, is it any wonder why they don't preform well they just want to get back to England and let all the foreign players do all the work for their clubs, then they take all the credit.

I guess I'm one of a dying breed, but I support Stoke and England equally.
England losing today would be the equivalent of Stoke losing 4-1 to say.. Sunderland (or another team who are fairly equal to Stoke.) It doesn't matter whether it be England or Stoke, I still feel shité.
