I still can't see why he was on the plane in the first place over Huddlestone and Parker.

Because Parker is over rated and Huddlestone was wank in the friendly against Japan? Capello said he was picking the squad on form. Can you honestly say that Carrick has shown better form than these two over the course of the season?

Parker is over rated, like the rest of West Ham's over rated squad. He was good at Charlton and was meant to be the next best thing, he never did it at Chelsea and only looks amazing at West Ham because their team is wank. He's a good player but he's not better than Carrick, Lampard, Gerrard or Barry and please don't give me this oh he'd try harder bullshit because if Lampard and co are wank how wank would Parker be in an England shirt?

Can you honestly say that Carrick has shown better form than these two over the course of the season? It's hard to say, because I bet if Parker or Huddlestone had been in Man Utd's squad they'd have had pretty uninspiring seasons. Parker has had a poor season, and Huddlestone's whilst it was good was shite against Japan and look way out of his depth.

I don't see how anyone can question that Carrick's form has been poorer than Huddlestone and Parker's form last season. Huddlestone has had 3 caps for England, and hasn't played 90 minutes in any of those caps ( I don't think? ) It's hardly enough time on the field for England to judge whether he's out of his depth at International level or not.
