Just wondered if anybody on here has had it or had any scares? Ive been the doctors this morning and im being sent for an ultrasound to 'rule out anything nasty', as he put it. Ive had a lump in my sack for a week or so and it got so swollen i could barely walk on saturday. Went to the emergency doctor who put me on antibiotics and told me to see my GP asap. The swellings gone down a bit but it feels like theres a golf ball in there He didnt really rule anything out but because the lump isnt actually in the testicle, im thinking it might be something elce, and hes just being over cautious? And no, it definately isnt monkey aids, i havent been shagging any mucky women and neither has the wife.

I know a lad who had it at fifteen and they just chopped it out.
I call him Womble. Because it sounds like one-ball.

I had something like that mate a few years ago, was about 17-18 at the time.
Found a lump on my right ball and went to the docs to see if it was owt serious. He couldn't be sure so sent me to have an ultra sound at the hospital about a month later.
It was fucking agony for weeks, constantly felt like I'd been kicked in the nads over and over but about 3 times worse, can't remember been as scared as that, thought that was it.
By the time I had the ultrasound everything was all clear so fingers crossed will be the same for you mate. All the best, let us know how you get on.

One of my best mates had testicular cancer about 3 years ago. Caught it early, had the op, and has made a full recovery, now loves showing his scar off to any ladies wishing to see Hope you go on ok

The vast majority of bollock lumps and bumps are benign, he's doing exactly what he says and sensibly ruling nasties out. And early stage it's one of the most treatable cancers anyway. Good on you for getting it dealt with not pretending it's not there for 9 months, that's when trouble often comes. Wish more blokes were like you.

I wouldnt have had much choise, the other half is a nurse so anything like that and im marched down to the docs, whether i like it or not. She bullies people into getting checked for a living, im just practice Im pretty sure it'll turn out to be nowt serious but you cant help letting bad thoughts in sometimes. Cheers for all the good wishes too.

Rang the Nuffield got in the same day and it turned out to be a virus. Three weeks of anti biotics and problem sorted. £160 but peace of mind.

I went to see the doctor after feeling a lump (Obviously thinking the worst as we all do) and he didnt seem too concerned saying it was probably a cist and told me to go back after a few weeks if i had any problems.......Ma missus who works at the hospital wasnt too happy with the way he just dismissed it and got me fast tracked to see a specialist who then got me to have a scan. Happy to say the scan came back ok and basically it was a lump thats formed from since i had a vasectomy where the tubes are cut ......... Like ma missus says you can never be certain, Shes seen too many cases of people thinking theres nowt wrong when there actually is, so get these things checked out properly, Dunna bury your head in the sand thinking it will go away. 99 times out of a 100 its nowt but theres always that slight chance........The thing is with testy cancer, catch it early and it isnt a problem

I had a numb ache for ages in my left bollock so went the docs and he sent me off for an ultrasound but apparently it was completely fine. Still have the ache occasionally but not as frequent (probably in the mind) so fuck knows what it is... My spermys must be raving or something

In all seriousness, this thread should be much more popular, just shows how this is still such a taboo subject for blokes - not good eh
