A superb display from Inter with some realy nice hoof it football.
And how nice to see a manager take the view that 'we will score and they won't score in a month of Sundays'.
Personally hope they find a Coates equivalent who'll pump in enough dough to keep them beating these tip tap fairies.
According to the commentary, Morrie 'saw the light' and switched from tippy tappy while at QPR.
Who knows?
A simliar Damascene conversion might yet befall Arsene!

He'll probably change his mind again after Mourinho showed how to win the champions league final. Don't fanny about, get the ball into their danger area A simliar Damascene conversion might yet befall Arsene!

He doesn't play 4-4-1-1 though.......... Looked like it to me, although the two wide midfielders push much further forward and narrower than for us.

Difference is a) he has players who can pass out for a counter attack and b) he allows them to pass oh and c) no fucking Sidibe around.

Love inters game, keep men back, contain the oppositions attack, force them to make errors (bayern made a lot of errors), hoof it to the target man or the wings, score on the counter attack.
That is proper football. Bayern were right pissing me off, 8 people passing it round the centre circle.
Snooooozzzzze.

They are but we set up GK CB CB CB CB W CM CM W MR ;D ST Inter don't, even attacking they had 5 in midfield buzzing around, including one of the best strikers in the world, Eto'o.

Good point. Except their spare man is a world class technical footballer and we have Mama.

I've heard it's Sneijder's dream to play under Pulis.

Mouriniho does not use any formation exclusively, he is probably the most proactive manager in world football. He adapts everything to achieve the result against the opposition of the day. Still bloody awful to watch when they play like they did tonight.
