;D And who's going to get us off our seats? Brazil too regimented, Italy weak, France over the hill, Ivory Coast got Sven, Portugal overrated, Germany ordinary, Argentina, despite Messi, led by a nutter leaving some of their best players behind (Riquelme for one), England better organized but, apart from Rooney, hardly inspiring (Milner £30 mill: do me a bloody favour!), Spain probably the most exciting....but generally not much to get the pulse racing.....

Stoke - they won't but then neither will England!
With those two out of the way it becomes more a question of who DON'T you want to win the World Cup?
1) France 2) er ........France

England obviously.
In terms of entertainment it will be Argentina. Though i think Brazil, Holland and Spain will be good to watch. As for dark horses, i think the Ivory Coast, Chile and dare i say it... USA will cause some shocks.

Can't say Dunga's Brazil does much for me. Brazil are , by comparison with previous Brazil sides, efficient but unexciting.
Holland might be the ones though as you say. Those Dutch boys will never allow things to get too regimented: they'd flounce off in a flurry of talc as in previous years!

Thats like asking who do we all want to win the Premier League, or which French ARSEhole would we most like to twat with a big stick You have to live in the modern UK mate instead of the outdated one you grew up in. Liking other national sides and buying their shirts is now cool, England are so outdated an basically rubbish and boring that we need to add more culture to our lives, that's the beauty of multiculturalism. Personally the team I support in all world cups is France as my Grand-dad came from France and settled in the area, I love French culture so much more than boring English, everything English or British is so just dull, I don't know why the english bother anymore, they might as well accept the concept of multiculturalism instead of having those tacky english flags flying from their cars, it's pathetic, the sooner the english are a minority in this land, the better it will be, so get used to it!

I'd rather eat my own shit then spend 5 minutes with these types.

Just a few i've heard about:
Christian Eriksen - Denmark - plays for Ajax and he's 17, i think, being tracked by all the big guns.
Gervinho - Ivory Coast - plays for Lille, rather skilfull midfielder.
Nicolas Lodiero - Uruguay - plays for Ajax and he was one of the top talents from the South American champions league when with Nacional.
Andres Guardado - Mexico - plays for Deportivo La Coruna and is rated as the best foreigner in Spain outside the ''top four''

Bizzare question waddo ??? I think holland have got a good chance but they will no doubt flatter to deceive. As for england, capello will have them proper well drilled and ready for this, let's hope for no dark admissions of private misdemeanours in the press, now's normally the time that they dig in and really try and fuck things up with some malicious story to split the camp then they heap shitloads of shame on the players when we fuck it up due to lack of spirit and willingness to have a go for each other. Capello will sort it. England for the world cup.

Spain are the best side by an absolute mile, their squad's ridiculous and their front 6 arguably constitutes the best players in the world. Fabregas struggles to make it ;D People may argue that they've peaked, and that to follow up the euros win with a world cup would be unlikely - but to win it would be extraordinary and that's exactly what i'd describe their squad as. The only way we're going to do anything is if Rooney has an unbelievable tournament and we somehow keep clean sheets. Something's got to give, the only sides which worry me are Spain and Portugal(for obvious reasons ) But that doesn't mean we won't lose out against the likes of Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Holland and so forth - we haven't shown any bottle for a long time in major comps. I hope we make a good fist of it, and at least go out in NORMAL time for a change!

Go support Bordeaux then. Obviously you're been lampooned. But it's the truth, the amount of non-patriotic people around today makes me sick, that's why I voted for the BNP, I'm sick to death of these foreigners coming here and changing our culture, go to london and see all the Argentina shirts, Spanish, Italian, makes you want to cry.

I don't see us beating Brazil. I see us beating brazil if we go into the game thinking we can win it, i think that capelllo is several steps up the ladder from eriksson etc when it comes to motivation, dealing with players and the hullaballoo surrounding these big tournaments. I know brazil are truly great to watch and have cracking players etc but all this fanfare that surrounds the football helps create this bubble where they are seemingly untouchable. It's time the bubble was burst. As i said previously, capello will sort it.

Obviously I want England to win it. Of the other teams,
Brazil have Lucas in midfield, so they're not likely to be doing anything starting every single game with 10 men.
Never, ever bet against the Germans. Ever. They'll get to at least the semi-finals.
The Dutch will probably be pretty good to watch at times, but they'll put on a good exhibition of Sand People defending and their constant cheating for the duration of the match will make them unbearable to watch.
Argentina appear to have appointed their very own Bryan Robson as manager, so they're likely to be write offs as well, especially looking at the players they're leaving behind. That said, they could well go on a flukey run to the final.
