Its the fact that they still think they are a massive super power of English football, still bang on about some fictitious Europian Cup win, happily screwed many businesses over when they went into admin, still try and belittle fans of other clubs including Stoke (??? lol ???), have the local media constantly sucking them off with the 'too big for this level' shite yet one promotion from league 1 (snigger) and theyre celebrating like theyve discovered their real dad on the jeremy kyle show. Just seems a bit sad for such a 'mahooosive' club

I,ve posted and said before we have 8,500 proper suporters, thro 1st and 2nd division we were there, now we are in the promised land we get another 20 odd thousand glory hunters who cant even remember LEEDS when they were a big club, I was about 12 when we beat them and ended there unbeaten run and even the bus driver to Castle didnt bielieve me when i said wed won. I hate Man Ure and Leeds but please all you kids who cant remember Leeds being a big club dont knock em ? They give us as good as they got in the 70,s

True, hamburg. Anbody who watched them, would have to say that they were good at what they did. Not unlike us really. O.k. they had some cynical buggers playing for them, but they were still a good team to watch. In fact, they were a good, old fashioned English team, who played English football. And they have always had ecent support. Never liked the, but can't deny them their dues. A game against Leeds, was always a game to relish.

We haven't sold out for OT tomorrow. Pretty small time. But anyway, it isn't small time, it's just joy at getting out of that level of football (I hate the media love-in of Leeds and it makes me dislike them,) but, please Stokies do not turn into the snobs we all hated.

As we did v Plymouth you mean? we WON the division soi, they have come 2nd, I think that was the original posters point I dont think it was actually. It makes no odds whether you finish 1st or 2nd, as long as you go up. The point is that Leeds self exclaimed attitude that they are bigger than many is bollocks. On one hand they spout off about previous achievements e.g. semi final champs league - going almost to the wall in the aftermath - to celebrating promotion from a very poor league to one almost as poor, after finishing 2nd! I hate them. Arrogant, self obsessed tossers, for whatever reason is beyond me. People go on about support? How big a city is Leeds? Population of what, 350k? ish? and they spunk over getting 30k plus to watch football. Wankers. SGT

I hate Man Ure and Leeds but please all you kids who cant remember Leeds being a big club dont knock em ? They give us as good as they got in the 70,s I do remeber leeds when they WERE a big club. I remember when they won the title and when they got to the champions league semis. I remember their arrogant and cocky attitude back then. When they slipped into the shit and dropped out of the premiership they retained this cocky attitude and continued bleating about being too big for the championship. When they dropped even further down to league 1 and tried to cheat by appealing a points deduction they had no right to they slated the FA and the football league, again bleating on about how they 'shouldnt be allowed' to play at this level as it was beneath them. They have acted the bully and sneared at everybody around them in that division and have never, ever shown any humility or realisation that they are not a big team anymore. Yes, we celebrated in the same way in 93, i remember the celebrations after wembley in 92 and 2000, and the miilenium stadium, but the difference is we accepted our place as a club. We longed to get out and we wanted better for our club but we didnt look down on anybody with a totally undeserved arrogance. Like most clubs, they have some good lads who follow them, including my brother in law whose missed about 4 games all season and for a few of them i hope they enjoy the party, but on the whole they are cocky twats and ill take great plesure in laughing them back down next season ;D One last thing hamburg, im cirtainley not a kid and i was there when we were down the bottem.

I seem to remember invading the pitch at the Brit when we beat Cardiff in the play offs... AT CARDIFF. There was a fucking TV on the Brit pitch! ;D Weren't some people slating Newcastle for not having a pitch invasion because it showed their arrogance or something? Tbh I'm happy not to rub it into Leeds' faces. We had some fucking horrible years to live through, getting 12-14k most matches and always knowing we were 'too big' for the division...
