Just having a pint in the cricket club before the match yesterday and the wife rang me, she was in tears. She had just gone to Foresbrook cemetery to put some flowers on her dads grave as she does every Saturday, only to find that someone had stole the stone angel from the headstone. I despair I really do what sort of low life excuse for humanity does this sort of shit? I hope whoever thieved it has a lifetime of bad luck and suffers long, painful and dreadful disease. Gouranga.

There's no need to wish ill on the sort of person who does this, Albert. They'll get their come-upance. I always think that you get treated exactly in accordance with how you treat other people (what goes around does, indeed, come around in my view). It's difficult, but try not to waste too much negative energy on people like this - they aren't worth the energy and frustration. I do hope your wife is okay, I really do. People like this need to remember - the eyes of truth are always watching!

I also despair. I reall do. That's just fucking wrong. Let your good woman know, that I'm sure there's still angels watching over him, regardless. Wouldn't you just love to catch them in the act?

Utterly disgusting, stomach turning filth!
Sadly the last decade has seen a massive rise in petty and pointless crime (I know my van window has been smashed three times in the last three years, though I didn't bother reporting any of them) and I suppose until we start ignoring hairy fairy organisations like Liberty and other criminal rights groups things will continue getting worse and worse.

Know exactly how you feel. I've had the same at my daughters grave. I had a stone bird bath with a sun dial taken from next to her grave after only 2 weeks! I went and asked gravediggers shortly after who said a number of things had gone including stone troughs. I replaced the bird table and had it secured in the ground. However, they even take 2p pieces I put in the water to stop green algae forming and again another had gone yesterday! Other ornaments keep getting moved and they wouldn't rest 'til things were broken. What pathetic, sad people that steal from graves!

Have you had a word with the cemetry because had it not been fixed down then for H&S reasons they can/do remove them even without informing you?.

When the Gypo's had their caravans on the Lyme Valley a couple of years ago..they did a similar thing in Newcastle Cemetery..graves were desecrated and used as toys for their kids..bits were found on the Lyme Valley after they'd gone..little stone figures and angels broken into pieces

Makes me so angry and upset to read of things like this. Where my mom is we cannot have anything like this..not even cards or wrapping on flowers etc, and my baby girl is at a nature reserve so take flowers. All things i have for her are at home so i know they cannot be taken/damage by scumbags like this.
