The recent debate on here, wondering if some supporters are already or soon will be gettting bored, with mid-table mediocrity, I answered (as did others) that I couldn't see it happening to me, being ever mindful of recent-past years.
I also said that, even if unlikely that we could aspire to top six PL status, we could always enjoy being party poopers, on occasion, or winning a trophy. Every game could be meaningful.
Well, Fulham said it for me, last night. Absolutely riveted in admiration, to their match, I mused that, if a team with an inadequate, if historical ground, the smallest playing squad in the PL, most matches played and not a star player in their rnidst, could work such miracles, then why not us?
That should be our target, with no reason why it cannot be reached, and we should be doing the necessary, in the close season, to start on that adventure.

Well we did a fair bit of "party pooping" in the FA Cup this year - knocking both Man City and Arsenal out. Hopefully we can get even further next season.

Sorry to say this, and no matter which division we are in, I will always support my home town club but, I really fear for us next year. We have been found out this season, looks like we are going to end with five straight defeats.
That, with all the reported unrest may prevent palyers coming to our club.
I think we will be relegated next year.

Have we never had 5 straight losses before ? Is the team that takes the field for these last few games going to be the same team that will play the whole of next season? Get a little perspective! Chelsea have stuck 7 past better teams than us this year and Bolton was a very unlucky day for us - we deserved to win. Surrey Stokie, I'm with you. Now that we've achieved the goal of 3 seasons in the Prem, let's make our next goal a trophy within the next 3 years!

The question is, is PC willing to run up the ruputed £160M debt that AlFayed has ? And some of the Fulham players are on some hefty salaries

If its good enough for the Manchester and Miseryside superstars, it is good enough for our lads.

It's boring me shitless lately

Very entertaining game today and one that we deserved to win against a good side at full strength.
Some of our football today was fantastic. What a goal the Delap one would have been
Great recovery from last week.
With regards to Fulham they have had the benefit of Al Fayed's brass for some years now since he bank rolled them out of the lower divisions so hopefully we can benefit from Mr Coates' input for some years to come too.
