Given that scientific medicine has come on leaps and bounds in recent years why haven't we looked at transferring some of Wilkos passion and commitment to the mighty potters into some of our lazy, good for nothing players. i.e. Kitson, Beattie, Tuncay, etc.
You dont see that the lad moaning over lack of play time, or going off in a strop when subbed, because the lad is and always will be 100% STOKE.
If we had 11 Wilko's in the team we would have shown more spine that what was on show yesterday, and yes we might have a sending off or two, but so what, i want to see our team fighting for the badge until the end of the season, not thinking of their summer hols.
so to summarise :
Less Mard Arses and More Wilko Spirit.

Jesus christ if we had 11 Wilko's the crowd wouldn't be able to keep up never mind the opposition.
Top lad is Mr Wilkinson by all accounts.

here here, well said that man. wilko has been royally shat on by pulis for the heinous crime of showing passion and commitment to the cause and not moaning when he loses his place. FFS pulis, i know the 7-0 was a one off (it better had be) but really, if wilko had been on the pitch we`d have had 100% more guts out there than the rest of those bottlers showed and would`nt have been as heavily twatted.

We could rehash the old Kevin Keen tune.
Number 1 is wilkinson Number 2 is Wilkinson Number 3 is wilkinson etc etc.
we all live in a wilko wonderland.................... ;D

I love Wilko and his commitment, but we all can see he is a limited player! Will more Wilkos take us forward? I really can't see that I'm afraid. Good squadplayer though!

Good squadplayer though! ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? there are dozens of great footballers in our league who are limited mate, beckham could`nt run with the ball, scholes can`t tackle but they`re still excellent footballers. wilko CAN tackle, he can run on the ball and is as brave as a lion so how can you class him a `just a squad player`? the more wilko`s comment simply implys that if the team showed the commitment he does then we`d be far better off. *but that result was the 1st time we`ve been twatted so badly in the prem, we are safe and the players seemed to have relaxed too much against a chelsea side desperate to be champions so lets not get too depressed*

I think Wilko is brilliant and continuously improves. He's all heart, 100% effort, fully committed, and walks with such attitude in the warm up! Get him on Tone, show the mard arses how it should be done!

I really wish we played him more.
He can run and play up the pitch, he's a good tackler and does a far better job on the right than Collins has been doing on the left because he's a proper right back. And he's full of passion and gets stuck in. Sure he gets sent off occasionally, but his timing's gotten loads better.
Should be getting far more games IMO.
