Looking at our club page on Sky sports, we are shown as having both Carlo Nash, and Marton Fullop as goalkeepers on loan. If they took the trouble to add Nash to the squad list, why didnt they delete Fullop? Are they just being lazy, or is he still technically a loan signing who could come back, as with Hoult going to County twice?
also on ex players, how are Sammy Bangoura and Adam Vass doing?

Bangoura left Boavista for Cadiz on loan,I think?
Vass has been getting good reviews for Brescia who have a good chance of promotion
the Sentinel said Fulop said Vass recommended Stoke

Gifton is actually doing well at the Aztex. He's played in 3 of the 4 pre-season matches:
1. New England Revolution - he didn't get about as fluidly as I'd hoped, but it was very cold and windy, so the assumption is that the arthritis really acted up. 2. Houston Dynamo - he played for 39 minutes, at which point he was sent off for a second caution. Amazing, being sent off in a pre-season for minor stuff. A testament to the quality of officials we have. 3. Columbus Crew - he didn't play this match as he was out with an injured ankle that he picked up during the previous week's training. 4. Real Salt Lake - I believe he did a good job here, but this was an away match that had awful radio coverage. I know that he was really pissed at the performance of himself and the team as a result of the 3-1 loss, but soon sorted himself out.
We have the Puerto Rico Islanders this Friday (April 3) so we'll see how he does then.

About Adam Vass...
My girlfriend who works for Sky Sports in Italy is actually interviewing Adam this week. Most of the questions will be related to his lack of chances in England, what he thinks of Stoke and how he's settling in Italy.
Any other questions people think should be asked I can pass it on!

Gifton is actually doing well at the Aztex. sorry mate, but from what you just said, sounds like he's havin a mare! Granted, he's not been stellar, but he's done a good job in distributing the ball when he's been in the game. We're only 4 games into the pre-season. So the "well" comment was more of a statement that the potential is definitely there and getting better. Tomorrow night will be the first match we see him playing a USL1 side, so that will tell a bit more of the story.
