Obviously there are a few games to get through this season, but I always feel these sort of threads are more revelant during the final throwings of a season, rather than when everything is done and dusted! So what was has been your best and worst games of the season to date? Best: Arsenal at home in the cup. Brilliant! Man City at home in the cup coming a close second. Worst: Doesn't get any worse than a 4-0 trouncing away at Portsmouth [thankfully God created Oxford ]

Best: Fulham at home, awesome 1st half, nervous 2nd, made a great match. Worst: Hull away, going 0-1 up and losing in the final seconds was the worst day of my life.

the games ive been to best - arsenal - home - cup worst - liverpool - away Liverpool away is certainly the worst result on paper this season, but I thought the 4-0 scoreline was slightly flattering for them, we certainly showed more intent and crafted out more chances in this game than we did in the 0-0 draw at Anfield last season, all be it the defending wasn't as good.

Spurs away and the arse inthe cup are probably the best.
Bolton and Man you at home.
I don't think a game where we haven't lost away from home like Sunderland and Wolves should be mentioned as one of the worst.

At least everyone seems in agreement that there are a lot more candidates for worst game of the season than there is for best.
Best: Man City (cup) Arse (cup) Fulham (1st Half)
Worst: Too many to mention.
I hope and Pray that we are involved in less really poor football matches next season.

Best - Spurs away for the result and mental, plus WHU away - same. Best nogga was Villa away even though we lost (we looked a completely different team to the one that tipped up there last year). Fulham and Wolves first halves were very good.
Arse, Man City and Blackpool in the cup were all great for different reasons
Worst - Sunderland and Wolves away for awful footie (and Brum away wasnt that far away) - Man U at home re totally lack of fight - Hull 2nd half away, Wolves 2nd half home, Bolton 2nd half

That Man Utd game was the most dissapointing game of the season due to the fact that we never turned up and more for the fact that we showed them respect something which we've never done in the Premier league with other opposition.
The worst in terms of quality and drabness has to be that Sunderland away game. Absolutely awful. Thankfully I watched it in the pub and wasn't there. For those that were in attendance, a medal should be awarded at the player of the year awards.
The best result has to be the Spurs away victory. Great, great result that will look even better at the end of the season and spurs are in the 4th Champions league place.
The best performance and result is Arsenal 3-1 in teh cup. Felt as proud as ever that day after we outplayed them in every department of the football pitch. Mama even looke dgood that day.

Interesting, and understandable given the scoreline, that people pick Liverpool away as the worst but I would pick the Liverpool home game even though we got a point. It was without doubt one of the worst football games I have EVER seen. Two teams without a positive idea between them and the 'once-mighty' Liverpool coming to Stoke with SEVEN defenders on the pitch - truely awful.
Best: The first half at home to Fulham where we played some lovely football thus proving that we CAN do so.
Best performance by the manager: Wigan away where we were getting absolutely mullered and he swapped the players around at least three times to combat the threat to the point where we were much the better team second half and only Mama's legendary finishing robbed us of all three points.

What am I thinking of????
Best game away at Old Trafford where we won 1-0 in the 6th minute of injury time thereby robbing United of the title.
Oh, forgot....It hasn't happenned yet has it!

All goes to show you really do watch the game and not just the final score and whether it looks like a good or bad result. We have taken points from some truly awful performances this season.
