I've heard a few people trot this old lod of crap out over the last few weeks and wondered what you lot think.
To me, if there is nobody you agree with or want in power, it makes more sense to not vote than to vote for somebody you dont believe in. In my area our selection is labour, tory, lib dem, bnp or greens. The 3 main parties are all clowns and don't offer anything at all that appeals, the greens are just a joke party and our bnp candidate is a waste of space, so what the fuck am i meant to do?
Unless somebody does something spectacular to gain my support, ill be going along on election day and adding 'none of the above' to my form.

I agree entirely with the above statement, in fact I'd say voting should be compulsory, provided there is a "none of the above" option on the ballot sheet, and if "none of the above" polls the most votes, all the other candidates are banned from the subsequent poll to elect in that area. And I think we need to goto proportional respresentation jesus at this rate, I'm sounding like a right Lib democrate

Those that vote are responsible for the shitty system and parties. They are the ones that have no right to complain.

I agree that would be a good idea, the problem is that the people who we would need to make a change like that are the ones who have most to lose from the change, and as they are all a bunch of self serving twats who are only interested in themselves, it is never, ever going to happen.
