Anyone help? We have a problem with seemingly permanent condensation inside some of the smaller double glazed window units in my sons conservatory in Stafford.
Have had some comments like: " it shows the DG is doing its job well by keeping drafts out" or "don't dry your washing there" - which we don't but th earlier owners might have done.
No-one seems to be able to suggest anything to get rid pf the condensation although I get the feeling it CAN be done. The units seem OK but who knows about quality?
Does it need a double glazing firm to open up the unit and do something? I've seen firms in the South of England offering a service like this but none up here in Staffs.
Can anyone offer any thoughts?
Much aooreciated

The seals have gone, therefore they are not effective, get new units put in The condensation stains the glass as well, so it will just look messy if you try and re-create the vacuum.

agree with the above, once they go, they go, had mine for nearly 20 years, then they just went, if its only the small windows, shouldnt be to expensive, as its only the glass unit being replaced, not the entire frame

What NS says new units and don't believe these re doing unit thingies, it's only temporary no matter what you're told and you can get new windows, the K glass? with the bigger gap and the gas inside which are far more energy efficient

Northwich Glass - very good and have been back to fix my back door handle four years after installation at no cost, as they have a 10 year warranty
