Midweek games would make it more like Carling Cup, and make crowd's drop even more.

Only way to save the FA Cup is to give the winner a Champs League spot, instead of the team in 4th.

if they scrapped replays it would effect some of the lower league teams and the revenue they may get thats the excitement of the FA for the little part time teams playing the big boys away and trying to get a draw to bring it home for there fans i think it would totally ruin the atmosphere and excitement of the FA cup

The way to sort it out is to set a maximum ticket price of say £20. If it's reasonably priced fans will watch it.

I actually quite liked the idea of midweek games I have to say. I hate FA Cup weekends when we inevitably don't have a game, and I love after-work games "under lights"...

Interviewing managers during the match, it aint ice hockey.
The managers are busy organising the team and teling them what to do.

I saw an ice hockey match on TV yesterday and they even interviewed a player between full time and "overtime"! That can't be good for his preparation.

Bloody Americans! I thought it was crap that their woman tells the referee when they're allowed to send the teams out.
