Hasn't been wheeled out yet ??? Would be great to see her dribbling and stinking of piss trying to remember who she was ! I wonder if she has any memory of her spiteful attack on British manufacturing ,mining and steel indusrties or dessimation of whole communities in the 80's I bet if she knew who and where she was she'd be thrilled at the prospect of Slimey Cameron getting ready to finish off her work

That was one of the few things she did i was happy about. Bastard teachers wouldnt let us go out into the playground until we had totally finished the bottle, and it tasted horrible.

Futhermore I really couldn't care less that you find my words offensive and I will happily celebrate the day that bitch drops dead !!

When Queen Maggie came to save us she inherited a welfare system that encouraged idleness and cheating, a welfare system that rewarded illegitimacy and rewarded people for not working. She also took on the might of the unions that threatened the very future of our country by encouraging people to strike for outrageous wage demands alongside rediculous working conditions that the then labour government were willing to surrender to. Redicule this great woman all you want, but for me she stands as the one person who had the balls to change us for the better. Of course 13 years of socialism has taken us back, not quite to where we were when Maggie came but not far off.

And what did she do with it all...flog it all off to the highest bidder...funny innit how when all the of it start to fall back on the floor in bits we all cry to the Government to help.. Trains...banks...etc etc she gave the public and entrepenuers a chance to get involved with it. How much better is the west coast line now Virgin have had it for years, time to change it?

A question for Thatcher lovers, I wasn't living in S-O-T when she was in power. Can you give me a list of all the great things she did that benefitted our city at the time?

I think most people (obviously cos she kept getting in) realised she was brilliant at the time and virtually everyone now admits that time has proved she was indeed THE greatest leader ever, possibly of any country.

In the 1983 general election Tory landslide victory they polled 42% If my maths is correct that means 58% of the elctorate voted against her even then..... I think even you will agree 42% is not "Most" people

For those of you who were also too young to remember negative equity at a level that far surpasssed that of today, street riots, poll tax riots and the 15% interest rates of her successor dont get fooled into thinking that the Tories will sort out all of our countries ills.
She deserves credit for addressing the issues with trade unions that had gone too far and for too long but overall she did fuck all for the working man.
