fuck me if you didnt know the result and came on here you would have thought we had lost with all the wrist slashers on here Keep thinking this myself I have put the text on four or five times to check the score, we don't have a god given right to go to places like Wolves and win (ask Spurs beaten home and away) another point at a team desperate for points. Job done.

Yeah. We lost all fuckin credibilty as a 'football team'. And from the fact we were the better team in a terrible game what does that do to Wolves credibility Hudson.

We couldn't put 2 passes together - we were absoultely dreadful along with that embarassment Sidibé upfront. Our only attacking threat was from the throw ins, and 9/10 of those went straight into Hahnemann's arms. We could have played all afternoon and wouldn't have scored - woeful.

We are in the middle of one of the best away runs in our history and one of our best defensive runs.
We are in the top half of the best league in the world, 3 years after having to play at Colchester, etc.
This is a moment to celebrate. Surely we have all realised that when the game is scrappy Stoke are on top. It is our game plan to break up the game, get loads of set plays and keep the ball away from our penalty area. I would say that today went to plan apart from we couldn't sneak a goal.

Fair enough BUT, why the hell did we set up defensively when Wolves have 2 pathetic full backs, a limited strikeforce and some nippy midget who causes very few problems? What a joke today was. Why did Pulis shit himself and leave Tuncay and Lawrence on the bench? What was playing Whitehead on the wing going to acheive? What was throwing the ball straight at Hahnemann going to acheive? NOTHING. Pulis shat all over the fans that paid extortionate prices today and i'm not even going to discuss the issue of the embarassment that is Sidibé.

Top half of the prem unbeaten in six away games and Pulis shat all over stoke fans.....REALLY.

March Thats fine if you are talking about RESULTS But on PERFORMANCE we were woeful and most stokies expect better than what is dished out right now. Theres nothing wrong with the style of football we play but we desperately need the players to play that style. Sidibe is not doing his job as a target man simply because he is out of his depth in the Prem, he just does not offer anything to our play. The fact that we are on such a good run is thanks to a solid defence and nothing else.

That's more important to me than playing samba football (the exponents of which will be joining us next season).

You're right Hustler. It seems like that on here when we win as well though. I had to check we had beaten Hull last week because of the people on here.
Wolves have done well at home this season, and are in the middle of a very good run. I think keeping a lean sheet away from home there is a good result. I know it wasn't the prettiest of games or owt, but it's a point, and a very welcome one. Well done Stoke, I say.

No we didn't lose. We took another point and another clean sheet on the road. That's two clean sheets and two comfortable games against two teams that are fighting for their lives.
Thats no mean feat in the Premier League when you are safe yourselves, having spent the entire season fighting for your own lives.
It's so easy to completely switch off and finish your own season with your heads on the beach.
